HOT YOGA therapy®
The main feature of this type of yoga is precisely its being "Hot"; the temperature to carry out the lesson is 30-36°.
By exploiting the benefits of Yoga linked to those of heat, postural, emotional and even aesthetic improvements are obtained.
Typically, a hot yoga therapy class ranges from 45 minutes to a maximum of 90, and has been designed to be adapted to different types of audiences. It is recommended for everyone, both for beginners and for those who have been practicing for some time.
The organization of the positions adapts to various levels of ability, intensity and pathology. Different Yoga positions are proposed, always balanced to allow for better stability of the spine.
Working in a room with a high temperature, where at the beginning the heat is experienced as a limitation, improves concentration and attention to ourselves, decreases the level of stress, allows for an increase in the coefficient of elasticity and helps to eliminate toxins and to lose weight.
The body works harder and uses more energy when forced to work in a humid and heated room. Furthermore, with detoxification the pores open with the result that the skin will be healthier and cleaner and the work of the liver and kidneys improves. The benefits are also emotional: testing yourself by working in a difficult environment helps you to know yourself, your reactions and your limits.
Thanks to the heat, the muscles warm up, are more flexible, the risk of stretching is reduced and the mobility of the joints is increased. The body cleanses itself of toxins, stimulates the metabolism and helps burn fat. But all the organs of the body feel the benefits of this type of yoga which improves the digestive, respiratory, endocrine and lymphatic systems. The new internal balance also serves to regulate appetite and control weight.
Light clothing is recommended, bare feet, a large enough towel or personal mat and never in the room without a large bottle of water. Hydration is essential in order not to risk compromising the function of the liver and kidneys by dehydrating them. The breaks for drinking will be marked by the instructor, even if everyone is then invited to follow their own needs.
